I grew up on a farm in Chatham County hunting "tree rats" with a bolt action .22 and pulling out brem with a cane pole. When I was in my teens we moved to Lake Norman and I fell in love with water. After a childhood of bass and surf fishing I've focused on targeting kings, mahi and Gulfstream predators. I've got three young boys and have recently turned my attention to inshore species that I can share with them more easily.

Jeff is a pro staff member of Mossy Oak's Pro staff and several other hunting manufacturers. He is also an avid deer and turkey hunter. He also volunteers his time giving seminars on hunting tactics and safety as well as providing hunter safety courses as a hunter education instructor for the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. Jeff has been hunting deer for 35 years and enjoys getting new hunters involved in the sport that we all love. He really enjoys working with kids and hunters with disabilities. Jeff is a devoted Christian and speaks at several Wild Game Dinners and Christian Outdoor functions each year.
